opportunity to play music in a variety of settings including: concert band,
small ensemble, jazz big band, and jazz combo.

SUMMER MUSIC EDUCATION BAND PROGRAM
THE N.Y.M.P. received $2500 from the WAB towards the 2009 summer music education program
The 2010 summer program schedule has been changed: Concert Band program will be held the week of July 18th Jazz band program will be held the week of July 25th.
There is plenty of room still available in both weeks come to the program and make good music while making great friends. For parents/students who would like to receive the early tuition price need to fill out a "extension of early tuition form" to be sent in with your registration form use the link below or go to the form page EARLY TUITION EXTENSION REQUEST FORM
Students are invited to take part in evening
activities held each evening at 6 p.m. including the Wednesday night cook out
and jam session which parents are welcome to attend.

the jazz program percussion students will be placed in either one of the jazz bands or in the (click on link for information). We ask that percussion students who want to participate in the jazz ensembles have one year set experience.
Just a thought for students who may be coming from out of the area Southern Minnesota, Wisconsin or Illinois or even further away if you and your parents like to camp, golf, fish, shop, or just kick back the Twin Ports is a great place to have a family vacation.
