Summer band program students will have the opportunity to play music in a variety of settings including: concert band, small ensemble, jazz big band, and jazz combo.
N.Y.M.P. holds classes in music history, music theory, jazz history, and jazz improvisation, private lessons, and basic musicianship class.

THE N.Y.M.P. received $2500 from

the WAB  towards the 2009

summer music education program

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 2010 summer program schedule has been changed:

Concert Band program will be held the week of July 18th

Jazz band program will be held the week of July 25th.

 

There is plenty of room still available in both weeks come to the program and make good music while making great friends.

 the jazz program percussion students will be placed in either one of the jazz bands or in the

drum set camp
