2008 SUMMER PROGRAM FEES

Tuition:

Early tuition is $110 per week when registered by May 15, 2008 there will be no extensions this year

 

Regular tuition $175 per week Students do get a free N.Y.M.P. t-shirt with paid tuition

 

Tuition Grants: are available to students upon request.

Our goal is to turn no student away who can not afford tuition!

 

A student must fill out a tuition grant form with their parents.

Students that request to stay on campus will be expected to

pay tuition the first week of attendance.

 

After the first week students may ask for tuition assistance to

return for additional weeks on campus. 

 

Tuition does not include housing or

food service. We are not able to provide grants for these costs.

If more then one student is attending the same week of the program the parent may apply for the full tuition grant if needed.

 

No commuter (local) student is ever turned away because of inability to pay tuition.

 

To reserve a spot in the 2008 band camp please send a $25

deposit for each week you are attending.

The last day for tuition refund is June 10th 2008.

Housing:  

Housing is $67.50 PER WEEK

On campus fee $73.50 PER WEEK

 

The campus fee covers the cost of the counseling staff, activities, and meals that are provided by the N.Y.M.P.  The on campus fee can be paid at registration by check or money order made out to N.Y.M.P. or you can pay this fee on line.

 

Housing on campus is two persons per room. If you wish to room with a friend (obviously not coed) please include their name on your registration form. Please make sure that your friend does the same. 

There are no less then 10 staff on campus at night living in the dorm including a registered nurse.

At the request of UW housing, please register by June 10th if you are going to be on campus. The N.Y.M.P. has been asked to give a housing number needed by this date starting in 2008. After this date there will a limited number of rooms available for late registration each week.  This is to help the University  know how many beds to hold open for our program. 

If you are interested in staying in the dorms please

register early. Dorm space will go very fast.  

 

 

THE HOUSING FEE OF $67.50 WILL BE PAID BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER TO UWS HOUSING

AT REGISTRATION CHECK IN.

 

THE  CAMPUS FEE OF $73.50 CAN BE PAID AT REGISTRATION BY CHECK OR PAID ON LINE WITH A CREDIT CARD.  (ON LINE PAYMENTS WILL HAVE A SERVICE CHARGE INCLUDED)

FOOD SERVICE:

 

The food service cost for 2008 is as follows

breakfast $5.39 per morning     or $26.95 per week

lunch    $7.04 per day                 or $35.20 per week

supper   $7.86 per day                or $23.58 per week

The total cost per week is $85.43 this is an increase of a $1.98 per week for the on campus student from the information we had on the original brochure.

 

The Northland Youth Music Program provides Sunday supper to on campus students, Wednesday night cook out, and the Thursday talent show supper.     

 

 

 

Please get your registrations in early!!

 

Food service payments will be made directly by check or money order to the current UWS food service at Sunday registration . UWS is currently taking bids from food service companies. As soon as we know the name of the company we will let you know.

 

 

COMMUTERS

CAN PURCHASE THE LUNCH ONLY FOR $35.20 AT REGISTRATION

YOUR MEAL PLAN PAYMENT WILL BE MADE BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER

TO THE FOOD SERVICE NOT THE N.Y.M.P.

 

 

 

 

 

We are no longer collecting the housing and food service payments because though this amount is paid directly out, the funds are counted as income towards our program which adds on average $22,000 per year to our projected budget each year. We appreciate your assistance.
